This site is awesome. We love this station when we visit Myrtle Beach and now I get to listen everyday at work, here in North Carolina. I love it. |

I thought since most people were bashing live365, I would put a plug in FOR live365. I had no trouble downloading it in the beginning but the sound was sort of "muffled" until about 2 weeks ago. Since then the sound has
been great! It does go off and on occasionally, but overall, I am pleased with it. |

I agree with Janet in Blackburg. It is senseless to bash a station who is obviously dedicated to bringing the best music in the world - beach music -to its listeners - and for free. I also feel they're doing their best. I personally have had no problem whatsoever with Live 365. The verbal abuse the station has had to put up with recently is an insult to its dedication. If you are a true beach music fan and enjoy what The Surf plays, do what I do - roll the windows down in the car in the driveway with the radio on and sit back and relax with a cold libation with your family!!
Just remember to occasionally crank the car up .... |

You know, I'm just appalled at the language and abusiveness of some of the posts on this board! Yeah, Live365 leaves a lot to be desired and I get really frustrated with it too. But this is a work in progress people. Don't ream these guys until you've walked a mile in their shoes. They're doing their best, I'm sure. I'm just thrilled we can listen free!!
Keep up the great work of researching the best streaming programs for the money and bringing Beach Music to the world!
Gratefully,
Janet in Blacksburg, SC |

Thank goodness for the USA and the different opinions that we can all have. I am old style 60's Myrtle Beach with "The Pad" and other clubs in that era. It is a shame that it is something that most of you will never experience, but you have a new generation to build upon. Go for it and keep the beat alive.
Love you gals and guys. |

The Fish Fry Music is not Beach Music..Its very old & obscure rhythm & blues.. Paying Advertisers spend their money on stations that appeal to the masses. The mix of 60s,70s & 80'smusic the surf plays is fine and targets people from all over the United States not just a handful of Dead Fish.. |

No need to apologize! We are both simply expressing our opinions (and aren't we lucky we live in a country where we can do that)! One thing is for sure... we all LOVE Beach Music and 94.9 The Surf! |

I agree with the last statement, but my statement about fish fry music is based on the fact that we were told to go to the clubs to hear that music. Being a victum of lung cancer I can't go to the clubs. Sorry if offended anyone, but varity is the answer.
Thanks |

While I do agree with previous comments that "Beach Boys are not beach music," I do not agree with the statement that "we, as listeners, would like to hear more of the "fish fry" sound." I am one listener that doesn't like "fish fry" music! Give me the 60s and 70s music (or "Soul Music" as we called it way back when)any day! I much prefer to hear The General, Danny, and Ken, Catalinas, Embers, etc. from those eras (and yes, some newer stuff, too!). I guess it boils down to what you grew up listening to. I do think that 94.9 tries to give a balance so that everyone can hear the music they love. It's a hard job to do! Keep up the good work guys! |

I feel like a number of other listeners that the "beach music" concept is being put on the second shelf. We, as listeners, would like to hear more of the "fish fry" sound Hook used to play on your channel. You are now getting to be just another station as far as the music.
However still like the news from "The Strand" |

Love your website! Now I can hear beach music 24-7! Sometimes some of your DJ's get away somewhat from the beach theme with 60's and 70's bubble gum type music, Neil Diamond etc. but I still love to listen in most of the time. Also good to hear the goings on in M.B. while I am not there. |

hmm... I haven't heard that the screen wouldn't enlarge to download the player.. we will look at it on our end but look at yours too b/c that complaint is def. a first
Check your screen resolution. you need to have it set to 600x800 or 1024x768 or higher. Somtimes if it is set too low you will not see everything. |

Have tried to download the 365 Player - the screen is not large enough to see what to do, and there is no way to enlarge it. Too bad - what was a good thing had to be changed to something that doesn't work. ame. |
