Last Monday, while doing a posting for The American Road forum on great local/regional radio stations to listen to while cruising down those two lane highways, I decided to include the Surf, but couldn't remember if it was The Wave or The Surf, nor the number.
I researched and was VERY happy to find that you had resumed the free internet access. I signed up immediately. It's great to have you back.
Living here in Illinois, outside of Chicago, and almost in Cheesehead land, getting Beach Music is not very easy.
Keep on Beachin' Down that Two Lane Highway. --RoadDog |

Where has High Roller Band gone since they lost their greatest and best attribute...Ken Hardee on keys? Since he left in September, Al Burton (drums), Alex Almasy (trumpet) and John Downing (bass) have left also. A super sound was lost when Ken left and we will miss his music and unique sound he brought to the band and beach music. He didn't mind spending his breaks talking to the people, that's what it is all about!

I just want to tell you, anybody that missed the show at Fat Harolds, missed a great time! All the music was great and so much fun. We were there from 11:30 until it was over and my ears are still ringing, but I don't mind. It was well worth it and for a good cause too. What a great way to spend my wedding anaversary! |

Hey Dino! I'm glad that you are reading the comment section here on the 94.9 Surf site. Sea-cruz has been mentioned several times as you can see. You have alot of fan's. Sorry that the ugly word (drum machine) was used in the details of your sound. I should have known that it was software of the highest tech value because the sound is awesome. I have heard your new release on the SURF and it sounds great. Please don't forget me if you ever decide to go live drums. Say hello to Butch for me! Ken |

Thanks for making this great music available via the web. One of the worst things about leaving MB in the past was having to leave great radio stations behing too! Now I've got the best radio station in the world anywhere in the world I go! Oh yeah, and thanks for Sunday afternoon at Fat Harold's!!! It was the best time and best show I've seen in years. All the performers were great and I pity anyone who missed it! |

I've just glanced at all the comments posted and it's wonderful. I live here in Myrlte Beach, but where I work I could not always get the surf tuned in. Now I can listen on the web and my SOS girlfriends that don't live here can too. Keep up the good work and thumbs up to all your D.J.'s !!! |

Wow...thanks for the beach music. I sold real estate in Myrtle Beach and after moving to Gulfport Florida all I have are tapes and C D's. Now I have found the Surf again. I live 1 block from the beach so I still have sand in my shoes and now I have "REAL" beach music. Life is now very good for this beach bum!!! Thanks 94.9.... |

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I'm so excited to be able to hear you from my computer now. I live in Charlotte and there is not a station that plays beach music 24/7. I log on everytime I'm home now....and listen religiously. I feel like I'm down in NMB and that's a great feeling. Keep up the good work and know that you are being enjoyed from MANY miles away!! |

Hi Ken in Camden, SC this is Dino with Sea-Cruz. Sorry man, we don't need a drummer at this time. To answer the other questions about a drum machine. We don't use one. Our back up music is constructed with the use of high tech software and keyboards. On stage my keyboards are live, Butch's sax is live and all vocals are live. Thanks, Dino |
