Thanks to my favorite station for making the tunes available for FREE! Hello to all my friends in ALBEMARLE
and OAKBORO NC! I bet all the Beach Music fans there are enjoying the Surf just as I am here in CAMDEN SC.
Since leaving there in 2003 I could at times pick up the station on cloudy days in Camden. Now I don't need
the weather to cooperate in order to hear the Surf. Thanks again SURF for streaming BILLY, TED, RAY, and CECIL
into my home.
Now let me ask a question before I close out. When will Dino, Molly, and Butch finally add a
Drummer to the band? I am still waiting for a call. Ken Lancaster Jr.

Thanks for making it free. We no longer have a radio station in Greenville, SC playing beach music. On my way
east, I tune to 94.9 as soon as I get past Florence and don't change until I go past Florence headed west.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for making listening to the Surf free!!! I lived in MB for 3 years until
7/2005 and was a loyal fan of the Surf. I miss the Surf more than the beach! The website is great and
appreciate everything you are doing to bring me beach music and beach news!!! Thank you. Jan

Hi there 94.9,
We here in Columbus County are so happy you didn't change your format.
When the big
change was being announced I had several people comment to the fact that they sure hoped 94.9 would not stop
playing the kind of music they played and you didn't.... Thanks a bunch for all the good stuff you play and
happy day to all of you at 94.9..

Great site and history.Your history should ahve included Atlantic Beach, NC, and should not have omitted
Ruby Vick(Viverette) and Doug Perry, F. Alberti and Billy Young in your great shaggers list. Are they in your
Hall of Fame?- they should be?? Thanks

So happy to finally get to listen to yourBeach and Boogie station. Seems where I live in middle upper part
NC,Gboro, there are NO beach music stations around anymore. So thanks for the station, the great DJ's and
keeping the beach sounds alive. Fantastic is the word. I feel the sand in my shoes and makes me want to hit
the beach and do some shaggin'.

I have been listening to Billy Smith since he was on WTGR, WNMB. When he came back to the Surf 94.9 that
completed the cast of characters. All involved are doing a "SUPER" job of presenting Beach Music to the world.
I am still listening to Billy every morning as I drive to work and now to Ray in the afternoon. Keep on
Keepin' on. Thanks, from a long time Beach Music fan----Joe G. from Supply, NC

My wife and I, and now little baby McKenna, only get to the beach 3-4 times a year and we always listen to
ya'll everywhere we go down there. Now that we've found you online, our "beach blues" won't be quite so bad
each time we come back. Keep up the great work!! See ya' in a couple of weeks. From a family of beach bums in
Mocksville, NC.

I've been listening to the Surf since it went worldwide several years ago and loving it!! up until very
recently. Is it my imagination or has the R&B disappeared and been replaced by 70's music?
