The public is invited to attend the Grand Strand Patriotic Alliance's annual Veterans Day observance at 10 a.m. Nov. 10 in the plaza section of the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

The guest speaker will be Maj. Gen. James Livingston, a recipient of the Medal Of Honor.

The Socastee High School band and others will provide patriotic music.

JROTC units from area high schools and all units of the Patriotic Alliance will be in attendance.
