Dabo Swinney, who was retained from Bowden’s staff to serve as the Tigers’ interim coach for the final six games of the regular season, has agreed in principle to become Clemson’s next coach, multiple sources said Sunday evening.

It’s no secret that the Rock-n-Racquets tennis exhibition at Colonial Life Arena already has some big names booked for the “racquets” portion of the event. And now, there’s a big name for the “rock” part too: Gavin Rossdale.

The NBER - a private, nonprofit research organization - said its group of academic economists who determine business cycles met and decided that the U.S. recession began last December.
