GCAT MEMBERS,

Today is the registration deadline for the Caravelle Resort Challenge this Saturday, August 23rd at River Hills Golf & Country Club with tee times beginning at 7:16am. As of today there are only 2 spots remaining as we have 30 confirmed registrations. If you are interested in joining us PLEASE REGISTER TODAY as I am confirming with the course 8 tee times. The entry fee is $95.00 and can be paid the morning of the tournament in cash. Tee times will be available to view on the website on Thursday evening. Thank you & see you on Saturday at River Hills.

General Tour News

As many of you are aware the last 2 events on our schedule had to be cancelled due to low registration issues.  A variety of things contributed to this.  The National Office & I have been evaluating these issues & perhaps some schedule changes & combination events throughout the Carolinas for next year will be considered.  I want to thank all of you for your support of the Tour through this 1^st year.  As always you will be updated as changes develop for next year.  To conclude this 1^st year I would like to encourage everyone to sign up for the next event at River Hills Golf & Country Club on August 23^rd.  As for the season ending event I am working on a venue but need a minimum of 24 players to hold this event.  The tentative date scheduled will be Saturday, September 13^th.  Please email me at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it with your interest in participating and I will move forward.  Thanks again, Tim.

Merit Points have been updated from the Caravelle Resort Classic at Long Bay Resort

We have 19 confirmed participants for Saturday July 5th at Grande Dunes Resort Course. Register through today if still interested. I have room for 5 more players only. As of today there are 3 flights, Championship/Palmer has 5 players, Hogan/Sarazen has 12 players and Jones/Snead has 2 players. This will be a Individual Stroke play event within flights with a Trophy & TGW Gift Cards to the winners. Would like 1 more Championship/Palmer Flight & more Jones/Snead. Tentative Tee Times are available today online. See everyone bright & early Saturday Morning. If you are late for your time you will be disqualified! Thank you for your cooperation.
