2007 North Strand Tabletop Business Expo
The 2007 North Strand Tabletop Business Expo was held at Colonial Mall from 4pm – 7pm on Tuesday, January 23. This was the third year for this event, which offers exposure to all residents of businesses and organizations on the North end of Horry County.
Over 100 businesses and organizations set up tables filled with brochures and other handouts explaining the nature of their organizations. Many offered gifts or held drawings to give attendees an opportunity to win door prizes from their business. The tables were spread out from one end of Colonial Mall to the other. It was a great opportunity for participating businesses to meet other business owners and network. There were lots of smiling faces, bright balloons, and free giveaways. Sponsored by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, the North Myrtle Beach Chamber, the Little River Chamber, and Colonial Mall, the Expo was an excellent opportunity to get to know local businesses. 94.9 the Surf was the only local radio station represented at the Expo. While most of the table visitors were familiar with the station, there were a few “Snowbirds” who learned about beach music and shagging! By Kay Maddox |
