Pleasure Island Beach Music FestivalThe 22nd annual Pleasure Island Beach Music Festival at Carolina Beach is Saturday, June 2 from 11:00am – 6:30pm. Sponsored by the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce, which promotes businesses and tourism in Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher, the festival offers a fun day of entertainment by favorite artists Clyde Miller Band, Sammy O’Banion and Mardi Gras, Jim Quick and Coastline, Craig Woolard, and North Tower. 94.9the Surf’s own Ray Scott will be emceeing!
Tickets are $15.00 in advance (Call 910-458-8434 or see www.pleasureislandnc.org) and $20.00 at the door. Rain or shine…grab your shag shoes and beach chair and come join the fun! Gates open at 10:30, and no coolers, food, nor pets are allowed. There will be plenty of vendors on hand to keep you happy! The festival takes place on the ocean front beach stage near the boardwalk (Harper Avenue and Cape Fear Boulevard) at Carolina Beach.
