CBMA Membership Drive Results

Results are in from the CBMA (Carolina Beach Music Awards) membership drive held at Dynamites recently, from June 13 – June 17.

275 new members of the Academy were signed up, and many more packets of information were distributed. Additional applications for membership can be picked up at Dynamites, or go to www.cammy.org to download a form to be mailed.

Congratulations to the winners of the drawings held at the membership drive!

Kim Sacks from Myrtle Beach won the weekend at Caravelle Resort in Myrtle Beach as well as lovely jewelry from Hayes Jewelers. Sam Hunt from Little River was the lucky recipient of the Fun Blues Cruise which sails in October, donated by All About Travel and 94.9 The Surf. Susie Mays, also from Little River, won 94.9 gallons of gasoline from Cash and Dash, compliments of “Jimmy G”.

Goals for the membership drive were three-fold…to educate folks on the CBMA, to recruit new members, and to promote North Myrtle Beach. The event was sponsored by four previous winners of Carolina Beach Music Awards…Dynamites at Dock Holidays, Fat Harold’s Beach Club, 94.9 the Surf, and Hayes Jewelers. Those who attended got five full nights of live Carolina Beach Music!
