1. Summertime's Calling Me- Original Demo with Bo Schronce & Johnny Barker Vocals. This song became one of the all time greatest beach hits which was recorded in 1975. Faster and quicker tempo was the final recording-This is the uncut Demo from master tape.

2. I'm So Glad It's Summer- Admiral Ice (i.e. Shohn Marshall) recorded several songs in the mid 80's-this was done in Charlotte. Great soul voice & excellent shag temp. Killer vocals.

3.Summertime Again- Stewart Harris was a member of the Aiken SC group the Intruders, which included Archie Jordon (Tams songs) & Mike Stewart. This threesome performed together during college and all later continued their stellar musical carrers in Nashville, Tenn. Great song with such a beachy tempo.

4.Beach Music Girl- Bridgette Danielle. 1980's song done in the Charlotte, NC, by then Shelby, NC Vocalist. Song was a favorite of many of the beach goers during this era. She offers up her great vocals on this tune.

5.Headin Out- Screamin A's- was a local group in the Charlotte NC area. Vocal Monk Fallows, member of the Catalina's and Saxaphonist Mike Waddell, now a memeber of the UNC-W music faculty. 1980 recording for this beach song.

6.I'm Gonna Love You- Band of Oz- Strong cover of the Intrigues 1969 hit & recorded shortly after Jerry West joins the group in 2000. The song continues to bring back the music of the late 60's.

7.Beez that Way Sometime- Men of Distinction- song was used as a step up to the "Big Time" for the group led by Paul Craver and one of the very few MOD tunes, that Paul isn't the lead vocalist.

8.You Don't Know- Central Park Band- 1980 original tune by Tom Bagley. Group's first recording that has a stong dance tempo & vocal. A version of this group is still performing today.

9.Girl, Why You Do Me Like That- Attraction's original song by bass player & former member of the O'Kaysions, David Baysden. Strong offering from a reuion group with a strong 60's vintage horn section & well organized by the original member guitarist, Keevin Smith.

10.Beach Music, My Music-The Entertainers- Album title cut with a quick tempo. Written by Johnny Barker & performed by lead vocalist Earl Dawkins. A true shaker and mover for a beach hit.

11.Four Leaf Clover- The Counts- This is a spin off group of the Original Singing Swinging Counts, drummer Pete Ridgeway & Charleston Rivieras' vocalist Frank McNeil. Great story & well performed song from the mid 1980's.

12.Moonlight Boogie- Chrissie Zastrow-song written under the Duke Hall banner in Charlotte, NC recorded in early 1980's & Chrissie was a long time member of Black & Blue as well as some of the Game Artist groups, Smoke & Fire, etc.

13.One More Step(to take)- Band Of Oz- title cut from the BOZ album. Performed by then lead vocalist Big John Thompson. Great version of a killer beach song. Excellent presentation & performance.

14.Never Gonna Rain In Heaven- Second Nature- early hit song by the SC group, still performing today. This tune kicks off a full length album of songs that were recorded by this group in the early 1970's. Group is still making music and has several beach hits under the direction of Tommie James.

15.I Could Be Your Everything-Shagtime- hit tune for this group in the early 80's- with the lead vocals chore going to "Mr Beach" Paul Craver. Song generated a ton of interest in the shag market.

16.Nobody But You- Marcel Evans-Charlotte, NC singer churns out a stong vocal with an excellent shag tempo. This track was one of those much sought after shag tunes in the 90's. Still works today.

17.Love Sweet Love- Phil Flowers- soul vocalist from the Washington,DC area. Performs a very moving & flowing beachy kinda tune, with an excellent dance tempo. Phil Flowers offerings go back to the early 60's with a huge following with soul artists.

18.Your Precious Love- Shagtime- Rick Strickland lead vocalist at the time when this tune was recorded. Great horns & a catchy tune recorded at the Famous Muscle Shoal Studio.

19.Silly Little Girl-Cannonball- Tune recorded in NC by members of the orignial group featuring Bunky Cherry, song writer of their 1973 hit- "You Keep Telling Me Yes".

20.Bury Me On The Beach-The Castaways- Durham, NC group that has continued to record tune under this name. Strong story for a beach bum that plans to never really leave this sacred ground.

21.Baby, You're Why I'm Leaving- Carousels- Group that dates to the late 60's from eastern NC. Tony Baker is performing the lead on this tune & was a memeber of the group when this tune was recorded in the early 1980's.

22.Tick, Tock-Catalinas- Song written by Sidney Smith, piano & bass player in the group. Tommy Black lead vocalist on this tune. Often looked over but a solid song in the Northern Soul Market. Great offering and the B-side to their first big hit "You Haven't The Right".

23. (I Wanna) Beach Girl- Fortune-1980's group & recording. Written & performed by Jimmy Ogburn, former Catalina's sax man. Bobby Aycock is the lead vocalist on the tune. Long time member of groups in the Charlotte and Rock Hill area of SC.

22.Summer Love-John Mahoney- upstate SC singer offers this tune which never made it make on the beach market but still carries the theme and is done in a very soothing manner. Check out his story line.
