SPRING SAFARI 2008

It’s time for the grandest of all adult spring breaks to hit Ocean Drive…SOS Spring Safari!

Area clubs and dance floors will once again be filled with shaggers and friends happy to be reunited. Whether your favorite tunes are from the 40’s or today’s "new beach music," there will be something for you.

When packing for your trip, don’t forget to throw in your slightly used but no longer in use shag shoes. Drop them off at the Surf studio at 429 Pine Avenue so that they can be "recycled" to a junior shagger! After all, one of the reasons for SOS is to perpetuate this dance and music we love.

Ray Scott will be at HOTOs (Harold’s On The Ocean) at Cherry Grove each Friday from 3 – 7…make this your first stop when arriving for SOS!

Plan to attend the SOS Parade on Saturday, April 26 at 1:00 on Main Street…as always, there will be many decorated floats and VIPs, not to mention the Grand Marshall(s)…hope you’ve been listening to the Surf for daily clues!

Fat Harold will have his traditional fundraiser for Camp Kemo on Sunday, April 27.

It’s a wonderful way to honor him as well as give back to those in need.
