Event #4 is in the books & although our field sizes have been small I received quite a bit of positive feedback on how everyone is enjoying the Tour Experience. News from Farmstead & all scoring & points are now available on the website. Thanks to all of you for spreading the word about our Tour & your positive comments.

NEXT EVENT

Our next event is on Saturday June 21st with the Caravelle Resort Classic at Long Bay Club with Tee Times beginning at 7:30 am. The Tournament fee is $105.00 & open to the 1st 24 players registered. I have extended the registration deadline to June 17th but is you are planning on playing please register soon so I can advise the course. As of today we are at 7 spots with 17 remaining. This is a Jack Nicklaus design Golf Course and is always in fine shape. We hope to have everyone join us for a great day of Tour Golf.

GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour presented by SkyCaddie

In that regard, SkyGolf has teamed up with the GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour to create a success story we can share with the world. We believe through broad adoption of the SkyCaddie, we can make a positive and impressive impact on the GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour this year with lower scores, faster rounds and better golf experiences. We believe the SkyCaddie will also serve as an equalizer for those who are not as familiar with the course they are playing.

SkyGolf's experience on the Adam's Tight Lies Tour, The New England Professional Tour and other independent research shows that when 60% of the field plays with a SkyCaddie, pace of play improves by half an hour. With 80% of the field using a SkyCaddie, rounds finish up to 45 minutes faster. Moreover, 80% of the Top 10 money winners in each of the professional tours cited above used a SkyCaddie. Regional Majors:

GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour Chesapeake Classic (REGIONAL MAJOR) July 12th & 13th

This year’s venue will be at Bay Creek Resort & Club. Located in Cape Charles right on the Chesapeake Bay, Bay Creek offers 2 of the most challenging and breath taking courses anywhere in the country. The Palmer Signature & Nicklaus Signature courses await to challenge the skill level of any golfer.

This event will be limited to 190 golfers. Registration is filling fast!!! Also, this tournament MUST be paid in advance. Payment the day of the Tournament will NOT be accepted. Payment by check is acceptable but the member will be placed on the Wait List until the check is received and cleared.

The key is to register early (now) to secure a spot in the tournament. Remember: the Regional is worth DOUBLE the points and can be a big determining factor for those trying to win their respective flights on their Tour and ultimately play in the Nationals.

Charlotte & Raleigh Tour Duel Event

The Charlotte & Raleigh Tours are teaming up for an event on June 7th at Tot Hill Farm. Spots are going fast. Join them to play one of the toughest course in America!!!
