Dip Ferrell and the Truetones …that’s the moniker for Billy Jeffords and his very talented group of musicians. Billy and his brother Jackie have been writing original music for years. Their cd entitled "Gilbert Drive" was so popular that they decided to regroup and record another one. "Get Ready for the Truetones" features 11 songs, all but 2 of which are original. They were nominated in 2006 by Carolina Beach Music Awards for songwriting. NO DOUBT, we look forward to many more sounds from this group!
