Diamond Ring Contest Winner 

Congratulations to Joanne Harris who won the diamond ring contest sponsored by Hayes Jewelers in Lexington, NC and 94.9 the Surf!

Joanne, from Greenville, NC, was the third name drawn on Sunday, January 14.  She promptly called in to claim her prize, and the 94.9 studio erupted in applause!

Joanne qualified by emailing her name and contact information to the Surf. As a matter of fact, her email said, “PICK ME…I AM YOUR WINNER!”

Benny Huff from Hayes Jewelers in Lexington, NC was present for the drawing and told Joanne the 14 K gold ladies dinner ring would be sent to her by certified mail.

“I left church a little early to rush home and listen for the winner’s name,” Joanne exclaimed. “In Greenville, the only time we get to listen to beach music on the radio is Sunday afternoons. I am so glad 94.9 offers beach music online…I listen everyday at work and at night on my home computer!”
