Account Executives

Award-winning radio station, located in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, SC, is currently seeking individuals with "positive, can-do" attitudes to join our successful sales team.

Ideal candidate must be able to work independently, while serving as a liason between the client and the employer. Tuesday morning staff/sales meetings are required.

Skills necessary include initiating and maintaining enhanced interpersonal relationships, presenting a polished and professional image, and the ability to set goals and objectives. In addition, possessing strong oral presentation ability, computer literacy, broad understanding of advertising principles, and proving strong results in closing the deal are required. Previous experience in sales is required, with web sales a plus.

In addition to radio adverting campaigns, we are looking for qualified and motivated individuals to generate revenue by selling web ads on our popular website (www.949thesurf.com). With over 2,000,000 hits per month, this placement lends itself to the candidate with direct knowledge and experience in Internet sales.

Sales territory includes, but is not limited to, Horry County and surrounding areas (including North Carolina).
