    The annual “Cruise to The Coast” classic and antique car show happens Saturday, October 13th at Barefood Landing in North Myrtle Beach.     “Shrimpfest” from the Little River Chamber will take place on October 13th and 14th on the waterfront in Little River. It’s two days of great shrimp and other food, free entertainment and great arts and crafts items. Get more info online at www.littleriverchamber.org

    The North Myrtle Beach Museum is asking for help getting historical items for display. They are wanting photos of the area or any artifact that is rich in local history. Drop off items every Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. The museum is located at 799 2nd Ave. N. in North Myrtle Beach.

    Volunteers are needed to assist with helping individuals with job searching, resume writing and other activities in the Job Link Center, located at the Little River Goodwill Retail Store, on Highway 9 in Longs. If interested call 843-390-9060.
