I absolutely love your station! I play it going to work, at work on my computer, and again going home on the radio in my car. I work in HR and listen while I am working, but have experienced a problem with the volume control. Once I get the volume of the music fixed where it is pleasant, but I can still hear my employees during a conversation, then a commercial comes on, or the dj comes back on and the volume goes WAY up and is too loud for background music. Is there a way to fix this? The guy that does the reverse mortgages is REALLY loud. Thanks for all you do and keep up the good music....lovin it!

We will address this problem with our web dept and engineering staff. Sorry about this problem and we thank you for listening!.

Why don't you guys stream in a format that is compatible with iPhone iPads and Android devices? You are using Windows Media when the rest of the world is shifting to AAC, a very simple thing to change and much more compatible.

You can pick the stream up on an IPhone by downloading tuneinradio this attachement works just fine..

Hello Kelly and thank you for the wonderful comments and concerns relating to me. I have been out of the Carousel Band for almost 4 years now due to health issues. I am doing well and it is good to hear your friend is doing well, also. I did do a solo CD entiltled: "The Things That Lovers Do" and I would be glad to send you and you friend a free copy that has "How Can I Tell You" on the CD. Just drop me an email at dterry@ec.rr.com and I will mail it to you.

Thank you Ted Bell and all the fine folks at The Surf 94.9 who supported me. They truly are the best in the business...

David Terry

Can't get enough of the beach and the music. Lost my computer a few weeks ago and the first thing I did was put 94.9 back in the favorites. By the way "Hot Stuff" is one the best songs going now...

Who did the cool cover of the Valentino's "Looking for a Love" that I heard at Fat Harold's recently.

Bobby Womack had a hit with it.

Whatever happened to David Terry? I believe he played in the Carosel Band at one time. He dedicated a song to a close friend of mine several years ago on the air who was going through some difficult times. She said his song How Can I Tell You helped save her marriage. I would love to heard that song if you have it. ps... My friend is doing wonderful and would love to get a copy of that song. Anyone know where it would be available?

Thanks - Love the Surf!!!!

David Terry,The last time I spoke to him was having some health issues. I know he would be so happy to hear about this and I will do my best to get in touch with him and have him on my "Cafe" show. I'll be happy to play the song tomorrow (Friday) on my show.

Thanks for the post!

Ted

On Saturday night, Matt Clark played a song about playing records on an old jukebox in a place "with sand on the floor". The chorus went "one for a nickel, two for a dime, six for a quarter". I didn't catch the name of the song or the artist, though. Would you happen to know what it is?

THe song is by Dip Ferrell & The Truetones "Old Rock-Ola"

Any suggestions as to how to make it stop dropping a beat about every 2 measures on the tune in radio app? Yours is the only one that does it and it makes your station unlistenable. You have so much potential but I swear it's hard to listen to that

reinstall the app and see if this clears up the problem. It has worked with other listeners on the stream.!

Your Saturday night DJ actually plays requests! :) So happy about this. Ted Bell is great about playing listener requests but your morning and evening DJ's don't respond to requests....so glad your Saturday night guy does. Matt Clark....THANK-YOU!!!!

Stevie B,

You have revived an otherwise dead morning show. Good job.
Maxie Cantley 07-13-2013 02:55 am
94.9 radio station used to one of the things that I looked forward to when I came to the beach. The music is still great but some of your DJ's talk way too much. What's wrong with less talk and more music?
