Just sort of stumbled on this website recently and can't tell you how much I enjoy it. I was stationed in the U.S. Air Force at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base (where the airport is now) as a 19-20 year old in 1966. Beach music got in my soul and I still haven't lost it. Your station is bringing back wonderful memories of the Pavilion, the Bowery, and Peaches Corner. Condos hadn't even been a vision at that time. I have lived in Connecticut all my life, but I love that Beach Music!

Hi! I've been looking for 2 songs but I don't know who sings them. I hope you can help me. The first is "Impossible" and the second is "Standing on moving ground".I hope I have the titles right. Love,love love this station!!!!! Can't live without my beach music!

Want to hear something sad? I live in va beach, and we do not have a beach music station. Even my satellite station doesn't have one. So glad you are here live stream.

Got home from SOS Sunday Had a great time Got up monday morning and when I turned the switch on my car I could hear 949The Surf and I live in Troy NC it faded out on the way to work but I love it lol Hope You get the stream working thanks for the best music on the radio!!!!

Hello, I'm a big fan of the station but neither WVCO or WNMB streams are working, is there anything that i need to do on my end to fix this problem?

* * * Jason, the streams have been down due to a Time Warner Roadrunner service problem. They have had a tech at our studios all day and I think they now found or repaired their problem.

Awesome station! Cant believe all the great songs still being played. Thank goodness for internet streaming! Would love to see a previous playlist or something on the website to reference. I also use Tunein app on my iPhone! gotta love it. If you could get a station on serious we would be in business!

Was wondering if there is a phone number to the "surf" to inquire about getting new "surf" t-shirts? The only number I can find on the site is the request line number. Could someone please help me out/ Thanks! BTW, doesn't anyone send comments in anymore? There used to be at least 1 per day before you guys came back on the air. now they are very sporadic.

Listen to 94.9 the Surf every day while at work. Really enjoy the great songs from "back in the day." There is a new cover version of the old classic; "Hey, Hey Baby," that you play. Could you tell me who the artist is on this version?
