You're one of my favorite music stations. Great song selections. Your music has had a healing effect in my life. I love beach music.

I'm sorry I didn't catch her name, but the girl who has been on the Surf for the past several mornings has the sexiest and most pleasing voice I've ever heard on the radio. She is really good.

I totally disagree with the stupid comments by Bobby Pavillion. Who are you anyway ??? Don't like it, turn the dial !I LOVE the Skipper!!! He has the best voice on the radio ! He brings laughter and plays music that people remember and love to hear. He doesn't play the songs that no one has ever heard of before. Mr. Pavillion you need a life
suan lloyd 05-18-2012 12:48 am
....love the music .....in the car on the way to beach now...just heard "endless love" song by ???? didn't seem up to the surfs normal standards....always listen when I'm at the beach.....
Bobby Pavillion 05-15-2012 07:49 pm
Listened again for a short time this morning. Does anyone else feel as we do when listening in the morning to the Skipper? It is simply a painful experience. It is as though he is totally disconnected with what he is doing. Consistently introducing the wrong song and artist. This morning he introduced the Band of Oz and played General Johnson and the Chairmen. Also, the word "consistency" and the Skipper will never be used in the same phrase. When I was working, I never missed a day...seems like two or three times a week, he is off the air (not working). Perhaps it is time for the Skipper to get with his "little buddy" and get ship wrecked off of Hilton Head Island, find the Professor and Mary Ann, again!

I love the Jim Quick Show and Crossover. It shows diversity and lends itself to a larger audience.

I love beach music. I've been listening since I first started listening to Bill Deal and the Rhondels, The Chairmen of Board and so on back in the early to mid 60's when they would play at high school dances & the local beach clubs. I rely on stations like The Surf online due to the fact that I can't pick it up on am or fm radio in the Hampton Roads area of VA where I live. So keep on keeping on with beach music.

Able to pick station up when driving I-95 from about Lumberton to past Florence, bit spotty but spotty 94.9 beats anything else on FM in that area. Thanks

I love "Don't Worry Baby" that was played on 94.9 The Surf at 10:30 on 4-16-12. That song is now my new theme song and the way I'd like to live my life....worry less and be more thankful. Thank you 94.9 for playing such great music!!

What's up with the online streamimg broadcast at WarpRadio? It's constantly having issues. I listen to online music a lot, but only have issues with The Surf. Can you please check into it, I LOVE your station and missed it when it was off the air, but now I'm missing it again. Thanks. *******from the Surf: I have e-mailed your comments to Warpradio. Thanks for letting us know. However, we have many streaming listeners in your area and throughout NC and most all say they get the signal just fine. Perhaps there is something going on with your local provider, but we will check into this.

Love your station. I listen every day on line at work here in St. Louis Missouri . I buy as much beach music of your local musicians that I can and was wondering if you could post the title of the CD your top 20 hits are on every week. Thank you

I have three favorite radio stations in the world, and two of them are in North Myrtle Beach! Of course, one of my favorites is The Surf. The other one at the beach is WNMB. I listen to both when I'm at the beach, and I listen to both on their streaming when I'm here in the Twin Cities. Oh, and the other one is WSJS here in Winston. Been listening to it for a long time.
